How to issue a multi-currency prepaid card?
All you need is a smartphone, the Bank al Etihad mobile banking app and a spare few minutes!
Here are the steps:
- Tap on "Cards" located at the top of the main screen.
- You will be directed to a screen containing your cards. Scroll down and tap on "Add new card +".
- From the list shown, tap on "Virtual prepaid multi-currency".
- Tap on "Get card for JOD 10 / year" from the bottom of the screen.
- Type the name and number you want to use on your card, then tap on "Create card".
- Select the currencies you want to add to your card. Tap on "Continue".
- Select the account you want to use to pay the 10 JOD annual fee, then tap on "Continue" to finalise your request.
How to top up a multi-currency prepaid card?
You can top up the card with the currency of your choice by transferring money to it from any of your accounts.
Here are the steps:
- Tap on "Cards" located at the top of the main screen.
- Tap on the prepaid card you want to top up.
- Tap on the "+" symbol next to the currency you want to top up.
- Select the account you want to use to top up the card.
- Enter the amount you want to load onto your card and tap on "Continue".
- You will be directed to the "Top up details" screen. Tap on "Confirm" to complete your action.
